DURATION

The Annapurna Circuit Trek typically takes 15 to 20 days to complete. This duration includes acclimatization days, travel to and from the trailheads, and time to enjoy the stunning views and cultural experiences.

Means of transportation

Flights:

Trekking:

Optional flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara are available for those starting or ending their trek in Pokhara.

The main mode of transportation during the trek is walking, traversing various terrains including high passes like Thorong La.

Vehicles:

Some sections of the trek, especially at the beginning and end, may involve traveling by vehicle.

Requirements for the trek

Permits:

1.) Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP)

2.) Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) Card

Physical Fitness:

A good level of physical fitness is required due to the challenging nature of the trek. Regular exercise and some prior trekking experience are recommended.
