Annapurna Sunrise Trek

Annapurna Sunrise Trek

Sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas is a memorable view during the trekking. The Annapurna Sunrise Trek is a magical and exciting trip of the wonderful views of Mt. Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Manaslu, Lamjung and other beautiful mountain range including green hills and picturesque landscape. The trek provides an opportunity to experience the traditional Gurung and Magar culture, rustic lifestyle and the agricultural system in the lower part of the Annapurna Conservation Area.

The Annapurna Sunrise Trekking package is also an exciting trip to discover the unique flora and fauna. The trekking area is surrounded by the forests of rhododendron and other trees. The views of terraced crop growing lands are superb. The trekking covers Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, Tadapani and Ghandruk village. Poon Hill is about half an hour hiking from the Ghorepani, which is in fact the best viewpoint of sunrise and Annapurna Himalayas. It is also called the Ghorepani Poonhill Trekking. The Ghandruk is a village of Gurkhas, which is rich in traditional folk culture and ritual patterns. Although many youths have gone abroad as a soldier, the group of local mothers has established the village as unique village. Also popular as the Annapurna Short Trek, you can have breathtaking panoramas during the short period of trekking.

The local lodges are available for the accommodation during the sunrise trekking in Annapurna. The best seasons are spring and autumn to trek in the Annapurna region of western Nepal. Join our trip and get the memorable experiences.
